International Destination Management Inc. (IDM) is a Colorado corporation formed in 1991 by Robert E. Kark, President. For the first 10 years of this corporation the business focus was small group tours designed and hosted by Mr. Kark. These tours were know as UNPACKOnce European Tours® offering tour guests a single regional destination set in a relaxing environment where the traveler can participate in the local life and activities. Musical or historical events were included when possible; full day and half day planned excursions, with or without local guides, were also included in the packages.

Today Mr. Kark limits his escorting and hosting of group tours to single entities such as corporations, associations, large families or other affinity travel groups that prefer to have the responsible party manage the travel details on site.

The primary day to day activity at IDM is creative tour design, booking travel arrangements, including frequent flyer programs, and detailed, well organized documentation.

Reasonable fees are charged for consulting services and booking independent travel arrangements. No fees are charged if the client purchases a packaged tour or cruise program such as those offered by Tauck World Discovery and Windstar Cruises.

Clients often have a cost advantage when booking through IDM because IDM is recognized by the Italian Government tourist offices and many Italian suppliers as a tour operator. The IDM experience tour operator status will save you money while opening ideas you might not find on your own.
